The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower between 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the World's Fair 1889.
The tower is 324 meter tall and is one of the most recognized structures of the world and presently it is the Global icon of France.
There are two restaurants on first and second levels foe the visitors and it is the highest observation deck available for people in Europe.
Eiffel tower is the most visited paid monument of the world with an average of 6.21 visitors annually and about 25,000 visitors ascending the tower everyday.
Eiffel  tower is also the second tallest man made structure in France after Millau Viaduct.

The tower can be ascended both by stairs and elevator but I recommend you guys to take stairs if you really want to be dazzled because it is truly an incredible experience to climb up to the top level of the tower and enjoy the view. But I warn those people who are afraid of heights not to go any further than the first level for it

takes some courage to look down from the peak of the tower , it really evokes your inner policemen.
Due to huge number of visitors in a single day , it is common to stand in lines for tickets but you can also book online tickets from the official website : http://www.toureiffel.paris/
